Walter "Bubba" Bogan, born on April 14, 1958, in Picayune, MS, was a beloved member of the community known for his caring and loving spirit. He was the son of the late Robert and Mabel Bogan. Walter attended the Picayune School District and worked at Ingalls Shipyard and Avondale before becoming a Quality Control Foreman at Mason Chamberlain, Inc. He later started his own business as a carpet and flooring installer, earning a reputation as a 'jack of all trades.' Walter was a dedicated member of the Pilgrim Bound Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor Henry S. Marshall.

Walter was cherished by his family, his wife, Katrina Bogan, and his three daughters, Requita Magee, Kamesha Coleman, and Britney Bogan, all residing in Picayune, MS. He was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Walter is also survived by his six sisters, two brothers, and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Walter passed away peacefully on December 12, 2023, and will be remembered for his passion for family and community.

A visitation will be held on December 23, 2023, at 11:00 am, followed by a service at 12:00 pm at Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church, 921 N Blanks Ave, Picayune, MS.

The Burial service will take place in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
