With great sadness we announce Theresa Elizabeth McKay peacefully passed away on August 25, 2026, surrounded by her children.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 4, 2026 at St. Rose de Lima Catholic Church, 301 South Necaise Ave Bay St. Louis, MS 3952. Viewing Hours will be from from 10:00 am. through 10:55 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. The Interment Service will take place at Waveland Cemetery on Duford Road, Waveland, MS.

Theresa devoted her life, raising her four children and creating a warm loving home. She did not work outside of the home, Theresa's days were filled with caring for her family, supporting school activities, and lending a helping hand to neighbors and friends. She was known for her kindness, her laughter, and her ability to make everyone feel special.

She is survived by her children, Vincent Lang Jr., Tianna Lang, Ariel Johnson, and Nevaeh Johnson; her mother, Geraldine Thomas McKay, brothers; Charles Thomas, Tyrone(Karen) McKay, and Lawrence (Tramina) Thomas.

Preceded in death by her father, Gerald Staten and brother, Roderick Thomas Sr.
