Sheila Edell Lang, 64, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2026. She was born on March 29, 1962 in New Orleans, LA to her parents, Myrtis Marie Rubin and Geraldine Lang.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 19, at St. Rose de Lima Catholic Church, 301 South Necaise Avenue, Bay Saint Louis, MS 39520. Viewing Hours will be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:55 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. The Burial Service will take place at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, 304 South Necaise Ave, Bay St Louis, MS 39520.
At an early age Sheila accepted Christ into her life. Her faith was a guiding light, and she attended services at St Rose de Lima Catholic Church. She had a warm, welcoming spirit and found her joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially sitting on her porch, smiling and waving to everyone passing by.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Michael and Joseph Rubin, sister; Pamela Terry, and niece; Alma Martin.
Sheila leaves behind a legacy of love and family. Her memory will be forever cherished by her two surviving sons; Vincent and Cyril Lang, both of Bay St. Louis. Her sister, Rosetta Maurice, 8 grandchildren; Vincent Lang Jr, Shikanah Brown, Ashton Lang, Tianna Lang, Jordon Lang, Addison Lang, Keno Lang, and Jhaylon Peel. She will also be missed by her special friends; Kimberly Oliver, Celeste Brown, and Byron Washington. Her Bonus sons, Corey Brown and Brysson Laneaux. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, neighbors, and friends.
