Royce Felecia Spinks

It is with heavy hearts that we announce on Sunday, July 19, 2026, Sister Royce Felecia Spinks, age 71, was called home to be with the Lord and now rests in His eternal peace and grace

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Pilgrim Bound Missionary Baptist Church, 921 Baylous Street, Picayune, MS 39466. Visitation Hours will be from 11:00 a.m. through 12:55 p.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Brian Dees will be officiating the service. The Burial Service will take place in New Palestine Cemetery following the funeral service, located at 2336 Palestine Road, Picayune, MS 39466.

Royce Felecia Spinks was born on June 20, 1955 in Picayune, MS, to the late Deacon Albert C. Parker and Sister Irene A. Parker. She accepted Christ at an early age at Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend R.W. Woullard

A 1973 graduate of George Washington Carver High School in Picayune, MS., Sister Royce continued her education at the University of Southern Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Eric N. Parker, two; granddaughters; Olivia Spinks and Cadence Spinks, and one grandson, Cree Spinks.

She leaves to cherish her memory six sons; Patrick Spinks, of Atlanta, GA., Nicholas (Tiffany) Spinks of Columbus, GA., Daniel (Natalie) Spinks of Meridian, MS., Jason (Courtney) Spinks of Upper Marlboro, MD., Dominic Spinks of Madison, MS., Lindsey (Lonisa) Spinks of Calera, AL., three brothers: Alan Christopher (Cynthia) Parker of Henrico, VA., Iran Lynn Parker of Mobile, Al., and David Earl (Vernadine) Parker of Hattiesburg, MS., three: sisters; Yvette E. Parker of Houston, TX., Tatia Sherrie Parker, and Gretchen N. Parker, both of Picayune, MS., eleven grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones.
