Rosalie Lewis Sheffield, a beloved wife and mother, entered into rest on January 24th, 2024. Born on June 23rd, 1950, Rosalie was a cherished resident of Pearlington, MS.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Edward Burnet, and her three children: Jaunelle Lewis Peters, Lola Lewis Byrd, and Travis Lewis. Rosalie was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren: Kevon, Zarion, Zidon, Empress, Indya, Tajah, Jayana, Sanjaya, and Travis Jr. Her extended family includes Janell, Sunday, Ora, and John, along with her sisters Louanda Miller and Jimmie Mae Holmes.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her mother, Margie Lewis, and her siblings, Barbara Ann and Edward. Her family, including her children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, will deeply miss her presence and the pivotal role she played in their lives.

A funeral service will be held on February 3rd, 2024, at 11am at Greater Mount Zion AME church in Pearlington, MS, with visitation from 10am to 11am.

Burial will follow in Lindsey cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
