Rickey Eugene Cameron, born on April 15, 1955, in Arm/Silver Creek, MS, to Marie Sutton Cameron and Julius Cameron, departed this life on January 14, 2025, for his heavenly home. A devoted member of Valena C. Jones United Methodist Church in Bay St. Louis, MS, Rickey was known for his vibrant spirit and dedication to his community.

Rickey attended Brookhaven High School in Brookhaven, MS, where he excelled in multiple varsity sports, including football, basketball, baseball, and track. He furthered his education at Jackson State University in Jackson, MS, majoring in Business and playing as a cornerback on the football team. It was there he met his future wife, Jennifer Lewis, and formed lifelong friendships.

Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, Rickey realized his dream of owning a business by establishing Dash Six Grocery, a multifaceted enterprise that included a grocery store/deli, liquor store, laundromat, and sports bar.

Rickey cherished his life with his beloved wife of 41 years, Jennifer, their children Kolbi and Kree, and his grandchildren Ja'Kobe, A. J., and Lyriq. He was predeceased by his parents, Julius and Marie Sutton Cameron, and siblings James, Eural, Marva, Shelva, and Steve Cameron.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer Lewis Cameron of Bay St. Louis, MS; his children Kolbi Cameron of Bay St. Louis, MS, Kree Cameron of Bay St. Louis, MS, and Bianca Martin of Gulfport, MS; his grandchildren Ja'Kobe Cameron of Bay St. Louis, MS, Allen (A.J.) Frederick IV of Bay St. Louis, MS, Lyriq Frederick of Bay St. Louis, MS, Elijah Martin of Gulfport, MS, and Jaedis Martin of Gulfport, MS; his siblings Donna (Walter) Ross of Prentis, MS, Julia Cameron of Waveland, MS, and Stephon (Darlene) Cameron of Silver Creek, MS; his mother-in-law Ollie Lewis of Bay St. Louis, MS; his aunt-in-law Rose Lewis of Bay St. Louis, MS; his cousin-in-law D'Quan Lewis of Bay St. Louis, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
