Jefferson-Williams
August 19, 1953 – October 3, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Patricia Faye Jefferson Williams, affectionately known as Mommy/Mimi. Born on August 19, 1953, in Laurel, MS, Patricia was the cherished daughter of the late Roosevelt Sr. and Lula Mae Jefferson of Pachuta, MS. She departed this earthly life on Friday, October 3, 2025.
Patricia was a devoted member of Pilgrim Bound Missionary Baptist Church, where she served on the trustee board, drama department, and as a youth department advisor. She was a faithful attendee of Wednesday night bible study and Sunday school.
Her educational journey began at George Washington Carver Elementary and High School, where she was a majorette, and she graduated from Picayune Memorial High School in 1971. Patricia dedicated 29 years of her life to Southside Elementary as a paraprofessional in the Picayune School District. She was also an active member of the local Genealogy Club and enjoyed participating in church events.
Patricia was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Her warm smile and acts of kindness will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Sarah Lee and Sharon Peters, brother Roosevelt Jefferson Jr., and nephew Thomas R. Lee. Patricia is survived by her daughter Shanda (Tristian) Robertson, granddaughter Chassidy Martin (Jawade), grandson Jaylen Martin, adopted grandson Anthony Clark, great grandsons Xaiden and Matthew Xane Foxworth, great nieces Caylah Peters and Maya Mickles, son/nephew Cori (Dorothy) Peters, nephews Hebert (Crystal) Lee and Stanley (Wilene) Lee, niece Ramona (Warren) Oliver, goddaughter Kim (Terrance) Goff, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 10:55 am, followed by the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Pilgrim Bound Missionary Baptist Church, located at 921 Baylous Street, Picayune, MS 39466.
The Interment Grave Service will take place in New Palestine Cemetery, 2336 Palestine Rd, Picayune, MS.
