I t is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lucien S. Myers, age 63, on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Slidell Memorial Hospital.

He is survived by his loving children, two daughters, Torrie Myers of Slidell, La., and DeShante Kennard of Metairie, La., as well as his son, Christopher Myers of Slidell, La., and four grandchildren, Ashton Jackson, Kaleb Burnside, Christipher Myers Jr., and Croix Myers. Lucien is also survived by his mother, Mable Gilmore (Auther Lee); two brothers, Perry Myers and Richard Myers (Constance), and one sister, Lisa Roberts (Frank), all of Picayune, Miss. He is preceded in death by his father, Lucien Myers, and one brother, Larry Myers.

Services will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 2 p.m. (1 p.m. visitation) at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church in Picayune, Miss. The Reverend Dr. Michael Kelly will officiate at the service.

The interment will take place in the New Palestine Cemetery under the compassionate direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
