It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Kenneth James Pittman.

A  funeral service will be held on Friday, June 5th, at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00am at the Biloxi National Cemetery Pavilion. Guests are asked to arrive 10 minutes early so the service may begin promptly. The address is 400 Veterans Avenue, Biloxi, MS, 39573.

Kenneth James Pittman (Kenny) was born in Gulfport, MS on January 21, 1966, to Mr. Ellie Pittman Jr. and Mrs. Rose (Price) Pittman. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor and being an avid Saints fan, by all those who knew him. He graduated from Gulfport High School in 1984 and went on to proudly serve in the U.S. Army. After his military career, he attended Jones College and had a 20+ year career in Quality Control Inspection, with his last positions being with NASA Michoud and Boeing in San Antonio. He truly enjoyed his work in Aeronautic and Aviation Inspection and often noted the pillar of his career as being an Inspector for the Artemis rocket.

Mr. Pittman went on to be with the Lord on May 21, 2026. He was proceeded in death by both of his parents. He leaves behind his children – Laneika Dionne Pittman, Kristofer Cordell Pittman, Terrance Bradley Pittman and two grandchildren – Terrance II and Naomi Joycelyn-Rose. He also leaves his siblings – Ursula Michele Pittman Parker, Kevin Wayne Pittman, and Rebecca Louise Pittman Edwards. He also has a host of family and friends whom he loved dearly.

Sharing a direct message of faith from him, upon the death of his Mother: “Understand that it’s God’s plan. We won’t have any more [tomorrows] when it’s our time…but oh if we only knew what’s in store after here! I thank Jesus for staying on that cross for all of us, when he could have come down and had angels just destroy the earth. He stayed though for ALL of us. Now heaven is ours to gain if we just confess, repent, and believe.”

Rest in Peace, Kenny.
