Kenneth Haynes, a veteran of the United States Navy, entered his eternal home on August 3, 2026. A native of Picayune, MS, Kenneth dedicated his life to his family and country and demonstrated a deep love for his classmates.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Brice Haynes, Sr. and Kathryn Haynes, and his brother, Brice Haynes, Jr.
His legacy lives on through his children, Crissy Cooper Johnson (Rev. Greg), Kimberly Haynes Haralson (Tyre), Sercompce Haynes, and Kenneth Jones, along with four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Anthony Haynes and Pamela Haynes of Picayune, MS; Joyce Davis (T.J.) of Carriere, MS; and Melinda McGill (Rev. Bobby) of Poplarville, MS.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Weems Chapel United Methodist Church , where he was a member. The address is 810 E 3rd St, Picayune, MS 39466. Viewing Hours will be from 9:00 a.m. through 10:55 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. The Interment Service will take place in New Palestine Cemetery, 2336 Palestine Rd, Picayune, MS 39466, following the funeral service.
