Mrs. Josephine Handy, born on July 21, 1953, to the late Odeal Morris and Lee E. Morris Sr., departed this life on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, in Nashville, TN. Josephine graduated from Bay High School in Bay St. Louis, MS in 1971. She worked at Carlisle Industry and Walmart, but her most cherished role was being a wonderful mother and a loving wife to the late Eulice Handy, whom she married on October 7, 1972. Together, they raised a handsome son, Eulice Handy. Josephine was a dedicated member of Kairos Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal Church (AMEC) for over 15 years, serving as a Stewardess and prayer team member. She enjoyed traveling with her son and spending time with her siblings and family. A visitation will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Little Zion Baptist Church, 510 S. Central Ave., Waveland, MS 39576, followed by a service at 11:00AM. A repast will follow the service at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park, Herlihy St., Waveland, MS.
