Eric Michael Griffin, 39, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2025. Born on November 16, 1985, in Atlanta, GA, Eric was the beloved son of Carolyn and Anthony Griffin. He was a 2004 graduate of Picayune Memorial High School, where he was a proud member of the PMHS Football team. Eric furthered his education at Duke University in Durham, N.C., earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology.

Following his graduation, Eric served his country with honor in the United States Air Force as an Airman Second Class. He leaves behind cherished memories with his son, Harper Griffin, daughter, Oaklee Griffin, and step-daughter, Ava Wilkerson, all of St. Augustine, Fla. He is also survived by his mother, Carolyn Griffin of Picayune, MS, and father, Anthony Griffin of San Diego, Calif., along with his brothers, Ryan Griffin, Nicolas Terrance, Simeon Terrance (Alesha), and Cameron Terrance, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Green Grove Baptist Church in Poplarville, MS, with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. The Rev. Ronald Dunston will officiate, and burial will follow at Rose Park Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
