Edwina Kelly, age 39, of Picayune, MS, passed away on March 2, 2022, at Highland Community Hospital. A talented mathematician and athlete, Edwina graduated from Picayune Memorial High School in the Class of 2001, where she played on the softball team. She furthered her education at Pearl River Community College, majoring in Music. Edwina was a cherished member of the Resurrection Life Ministries under Pastor Alan Hickman.

She is survived by her loving mother, Ernie Mae Thomas; father, Eddie Lee Stuard; stepfather, Neville G. Thomas Sr.; and brothers, Neville G. Thomas Jr. and Nigel E. K. Thomas.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 1pm at Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church, with visitation from 11 am until 1pm.

Ms. Kelly  will be laid to rest in New Palestine Cemetery, under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
