Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Valena C. Jones United Methodist Church, Bay St. Louis, MS., at 11 am., visitation from 10 am., until 11am., for Eartha Dorsey Acker age 79 of Bay St. Louis, MS,. who passed away Friday May 30, 2025 in Gulfport, MS.

A native of Bay St. Louis, MS. She was a member of Valena C. Jones United Methodist Church. Eartha retired from Bay High School as a Secretary.

Survivors include; 3 daughters Deidra Acker Smith and Darlene Acker Pace, both of Atlanta, GA., Desaree Acker of Bay St. Louis, MS., 12 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Valena Henry of Waveland, MS. a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband, Willie C. Acker, parents; Ernest Sr., and Evelyn Dorsey, 3 brothers; Ernest Jr., Wilbert and Herbert Dorsey. .

Burial In New Hope Baptist Cemetery, Pearlington, MS., under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home, Picayune, MS.
