Charles E. Williams

Charles E. Williams Sr., 79, of Lumberton, MS, peacefully passed away at home with his family by his side on July 2, 2026. A dedicated employee of the Norfolk Southern Railroad for 35 years and a faithful member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, he will be remembered for his steadfast service and his deep love for fishing.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, located at 151 S Wellstown Rd, Lumberton, MS. Visitation Hours will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 am. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. The Burial Service will take place in Wells Town Community Cemetery, Lumberton, MS following the funeral service. 

Charles leaves behind a beautiful legacy and will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Mary Williams; his children, Charles Williams Jr., Torrey Williams, and Rokera Williams; twelve grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Ronnie McLemore; his sister, Linda Whitehead; and a large host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
