Anthony "Butsy" Jurich went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ peacefully in his home on January 21, 2026 - just 6 days shy of his 90th birthday.

Tony loved his God, his family, and his friends. He never met a stranger and could make anyone feel welcomed and uplifted, usually with lots of laughs, sarcasm, and his infectious joy for Jesus. Though he was a man of few words, he certainly had a spiritual gift of encouragement and was a great listener. He loved being a husband and father, and especially loved being "Deda" to all his grandchildren. Tony is missed beyond measure, and his loved ones will carry him and his legacy with them all the days of their lives.

Tony's Celebration of Life will be held at Resurrection Life Ministries in Picayune, MS on February 7, 2026. Visitation 10:00-11:00am. Service 11:00am-12:00pm.

Tony is preceded in death by his father Anthony Spiro Jurich, mother Catherine Jurich, son Jonathan Jurich, son Steffan Dupree and sister Lorraine Wall.

He is survived by his loving wife and soulmate Teresa Jurich; his loving children Anthony R. Jurich (Charlene), Kevin Jurich (Kristy), Jessica Davis (David), Jennifer Helton (Jason), Brandon Jurich (Victoria); his grandchildren Krista, Hunter, Blair, Hannah, Grace, Noah, Anna, Evelyn, Ellie, and Millie; his great-grandchildren Trace, Abel and Stassi jo; his loving sister Marie Jurich; and his nieces Lisa Gross, Katherine Hickham (Michael), and Brenda Trawick (Trent).
