Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 3, 2025, time 11 a.m., visitation 10 a.m., until 11 a.m., at New Welcome Baptist Church for Albert C. Fairly age 82 of Poplarville, MS, who passed away Monday, April 21, 2025 at his home.

Albert was a member of New Welcome Baptist Church, he served on the Deacon Board, choir member, a faithful  Sunday school teacher, and a faithful choir member until his health failed. He worked for the International Paper Company, and the Mississippi Department of Transportation.

Survivors include two daughters, Ruba Donston of Sacramento, CA, and Eugenia Gary of Los Angeles, CA, three sons; Bryant Fairley,   Albert Tyrone Fairley and Cubby Donston, all of Poplarville, MS. 18 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, three brothers; the Rev. Nathaniel Jordon, Loray Jordan and the Rev. Edward Jordan, three sisters; Delois Henry, Beverley Abram and Queenester Richerbay, a host of nieces, nephews, relative and friends.

Preceded in death by his wife, Murlene Lewis Fairley; one son, Kevin Donston; one daughter, Durcella Robinson; one grandson, Kenny Loper; parents, Jack and Leola Fairley; step-father, Clark Jordan, and one brother, Clinton Jordan.

The Burial Service will take place in the Dave Monday Cemetery, Poplarville, MS., under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
