Adam Lemay was born to the late John Lemay and Sedonia Harris. He departed this life on Sunday July 12, 2026, in Slidell, Louisiana..
Adam graduated from Bay Sr. High School in Bay St. Louis, MS., in 1986. He was a Veteran of The United State Army and served in Desert Storm. He worked as a sheet metal mechanic for over 25 years, which allowed him to travel coast to coast. Adam's most important job was being a father and grandfather.
Adam accepted Christ into his life and followed the leadership of Pastor Cornell D. Jackson at Life A New Ministries in Waveland, MS. He was a member of Waveland Helping Hands Community Organization. He enjoyed spending time with family, listening to the blues, playing horseshoes, attending his grandchildren's sporting events, and cracking up at Kunty Wayne skits.
Adam is survived by his son, Antonio Hawkins, daughter-in-law Sonia Hawkins, brothers; Lionel Harris, Eugene Lemay, and Lawrence Thomas, sisters; Cynthia Coleman and Allison Lemay. He was a proud grandfather and will be truly missed by his grandchildren; Amira Bridgett, Adrianna Hawkins, Gabrielle Harris, Taliyah Hawkins and Antonio Hawkins II, he will forever be loved and missed by his love, Jurinea Dunkin, and kids Pharoah Lyons, Jr., and Peyton Tillman. He leaves fond memories with a host of nieces, nephews, and two Godchildren, Samantha Scales and Danyah Curry, relatives and friends.
Adam was preceded in death by his parents, John Lemay and Sedonia Harris, brothers; Ronnie Lemay and Calvin Thomas, sisters; Michelle Lemay and Sandra Harris and niece, Tiffany Harris.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday July 25, 2026 at Church of Living God Resurrection 1007 Maple Street, Waveland, MS. Visitation Hour will be from 11:00 a.m. through 12:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. The Burial Service will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Waveland Cemetery with military honors.
