Ada Lee (Granny P) Pittman Thomas, 94, of Poplarville, MS, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply at Pearl River Community Nursing Home.

Born on March 22, 1931, in Angie, Louisiana, to Jessie and Frankie Peters, she lived a long, remarkable life rooted in faith, prayer, and unwavering devotion to those around her. She was the proud mother of 11 children, and her love continued to ripple outward through 40 grandchildren, 80 great grandchildren, and 35 great-great grandchildren. Her family was her heart, and she nurtured each generation with patience, wisdom, and a love that never wavered. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and open doors — a space where everyone felt welcome.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at The Glorious Church located at 26 Burton Rd, Poplarville, MS 39470.

Viewing hours will be from 10:00am until 10:55am. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am.

Following the Funeral Service, The Committal Service take place at Dave Monday Cemetery (White Sand, MS) . Funeral services are under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
