Aaron Michael Haynes,Sr.

Aaron Michael Haynes, Sr. age 59, of Picayune, MS, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Slidell Memorial Hospital in Slidell, LA. 

Aaron Haynes was employed as an electrical design engineer for Austal USA in Mobile, AL and was a deacon and member at Pilgrim Bound Missionary Baptist Church in Picayune, MS. He was the son of the late the late Kwaku Amenhotep (Ronald Michael Haynes) and Ernestine Haynes.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Myrtle Haynes of Picayune, MS; two sons, Brandon Washington (Cardin) of Boston, MA and Aaron Michael Haynes, Jr. of Houston, TX; one daughter, Ranesha King of LaPlace, LA; 2 sisters, Monique Austin (Orlando) of Haysville, GA and Dana Riley (Cory) of Slidell, LA and 6 grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Pilgrim Bound Missionary Baptist Church located at 921 Baylous St, Picayune, MS 39466. Public Visitation Hours will be from 11:00 am - 12:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Reverend Henry S. Marshal will be officiating the Service. 

The Interment Service will be held Sunday, May 3, 2026 in Wisner, Louisiana at Hope Estate Cemetery on Natchez Street.
